Demonstrations have erupted in Thogoto following escalating insecurity and the controversial death of Victor Karani. Nyatike County has been placed under curfew following a series of attacks, with the measure aiming to restore peace and order in the region. Fresh clashes have erupted along the border of Kisumu and Kericho counties, resulting in the death of one person amidst the violence. Following a series of bandit attacks in Tigania East, Meru County, pastors from the region have conducted special prayers to seek divine intervention against escalating criminal activities.
