Flood Death Toll Rises to 71 Across Kenya - March 2026

The death toll from floods across Kenya has tragically risen to 71, with five new fatalities reported in Nairobi, Eastern, and the Coast regions. Over 150 families in villages within Bungoma County have received much-needed aid following devastating floods attributed to ongoing heavy rains. Two young men visiting Nairobi seeking work have tragically died after a building collapse in Blue Estate, Shauri Moyo, with their bodies among three discovered by responders.
