A passenger plane arriving from Kisumu International Airport veered off the runway at Wilson Airport on Friday evening, March 20, with all 39 passengers and crew escaping unhurt. The aircraft was operated by ALS Limited. Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, who was among the survivors, recounted his ordeal and called for the airport's immediate closure and comprehensive upgrade.
