The aircraft, operated by Safarilink Aviation Limited, encountered the incident around 8:55 pm upon arrival from Kisumu International Airport.
The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) confirmed the event and stated that recovery efforts are underway.
Conditions at the time included a wet runway and reduced visibility due to rain, and the Aircraft Accident Investigation Department (AAID) is investigating the cause.
