ODM declares James Orengo as 2027 presidential candidate from Vihiga - April 2026

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has officially declared Hon. James Orengo as their presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, hailing from Vihiga County. The Linda Mwananchi fraternity has officially endorsed Orengo as their leader and a potential presidential contender for the 2027 elections. Leaders from Vihiga County have criticized Oburu Oginga, accusing him of violating the ethical standards of the ODM party for disregarding resolutions made by the late Raila Odinga. Meanwhile, James Orengo addressed the Linda Mwananchi rally held in Kisumu, which was broadcast live by KTN News Kenya.
