Kenyan motorists are bracing for significant pain at the pump as fuel prices surge in the latest review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA). The new prices, effective from 15th May to 14th June 2026, see a substantial jump in the cost of Super Petrol rising by Ksh 16 per litre and Diesel increasing by Ksh 46 per litre. Motorists and households in Kenya are facing significantly higher transport and energy costs as a result of these changes. EPRA announced significant fuel price increases for the period of May 15 to June 14, 2026. The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority has also announced significant price hikes for Super Petrol and Diesel for the May-June 2026 cycle.
