Police are searching for the driver of a Nicco Movers matatu after a KMTC student was allegedly pushed out of the moving vehicle and died on Thika Road towards Nairobi. The incident follows a nationwide matatu strike protesting rising fuel prices. A similar tragedy occurred yesterday when another KMTC student died after reportedly being thrown from a Nicco bus. Meanwhile, in Machakos, a driver identified as Christopher Mwenda Robert is being held for 21 days in custody following the deaths of three youths last week who were watching a PSG vs Arsenal football match.
