Leaders from the Kenya Kwanza coalition in western Kenya have publicly endorsed President William Ruto as part of ongoing political engagements and campaigns within the region. These leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza administration have dismissed the opposition's recent tour of Western Kenya as inconsequential, accusing them of lacking an agenda for the area. Separately, Safina Party leader Jimi Wanjigi has challenged the government's plan to borrow shillings 1.1 trillion, deeming the loan legally invalid, and has dismissed the United Opposition's People's Budget as inadequate, unveiling his own compromise budget with a distinct approach to taxation and debt.
