KCB Agents Expand Financial Access With Airtel Money Partnership - June 2026
KCB Bank Kenya agents now offer Airtel Money services, enabling customers to deposit and withdraw cash across more than 22,000 locations nationwide. This expansion of financial access coincides with strong optimism among Kenyan SMEs, with 7 in 10 expecting revenue growth in 2026 according to the Mastercard SME Confidence Index 2026. Separately, Stanbic Holdings disbursed Sh1.8 billion towards affordable housing projects in 2025, significantly contributing to Kenya's housing development initiatives. Meanwhile, farmers are increasingly turning to buyers of their produce for credit, a trend that gained significant traction during the May 2026 long rains season, according to a CBK survey.
