Samson Lemayan successfully defended his title at the 26th Lewa Safari Marathon held at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Meru County on Saturday. Debutant Lydia Simiyu also clinched the women's crown at the same event. Both winners are Kenya Wildlife Service rangers. The marathon successfully attracted 1,500 athletes in a race focused on conservation and talent development. The event brings together global runners for a unique sporting and conservation experience.
