The Kenyan government is launching the second phase of its youth enterprise support program, which will provide 122,000 young entrepreneurs with business grants of Sh50,000 each. This represents a significant investment in youth economic empowerment. At the same time, the Kenya Revenue Authority has set an 8% interest rate for fringe benefits and deemed interest rates for loans and benefits provided to employees, effective from July to September 2026. Meanwhile, outgoing European Union Ambassador to Kenya Henriette Geiger declared the Kenya-EU partnership stronger than ever, marking her near five-year tenure as a period of significant growth and expanded cooperation.
