EALA MP Kanini Kega was attacked while driving from Ol Kalou, with reports indicating the incident occurred in Ol Joro Orok. The MP reported an attack on his vehicle by police and recounted the shooting incident, claiming he was being followed by individuals alleged to be police officers. He stated his life is in danger after the alleged shooting in Nyandarua. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen assured Olkalou residents of free, fair, and peaceful elections scheduled for August 16th.
