The Linda Mwananchi Movement has announced plans for daily protests outside the Registrar of Political Parties offices starting Monday, if their party registration application is not approved. The movement previously stormed Busia, accusing the government of blocking their party registration. Government allies have issued warnings to opposition leaders, cautioning them against forming alliances with DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua, who has declared himself the most suitable candidate to lead a united opposition to unseat President William Ruto.
