The Linda Mwananchi rally led by Edwin Sifuna kicked off in Nyandiwa, Homa Bay, with an energetic crowd welcoming the team in Sindo for the movement's second rally in Homa Bay. The journey to Homa Bay was marked by roadblocks, attacks, and rising tension, with the mkutano (meeting) sparking heated debate and safety concerns. Babu Owino introduced Sifuna to address the crowd at the rally. National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed has strongly refuted claims by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua that ODM is defunct in Kajiado, taking aim at Gachagua over these claims. Sifuna stated that they have traveled across Kenya like Linda Mwananchi and there is no vote for 'Kasongo'.
