The human rights organization VOCAL Africa has formally appealed to the International Criminal Court to monitor Kenya due to rising political violence and potential human rights violations ahead of the 2027 General Election. Meanwhile, two Members of Parliament Peter Kaluma and John Kaguchia are facing potential disciplinary action from the Law Society of Kenya for allegedly making inflammatory remarks.
