President William Ruto has ordered a review of agreements with healthcare workers following the first National Health Summit in Kenya, which addressed persistent issues within the health sector concerning frequent strikes and unfulfilled contracts. The Kenya Health Summit concluded with urgent calls for a swift resolution to the ongoing standoff concerning the welfare of health workers. Separately, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has declared that no hospital in the city should report a shortage of medicine.
