Doctors in Isiolo have officially ended their 80-day strike following a significant agreement with the county government, bringing an end to prolonged industrial action. Elders from Embu have urged Governor Mbarire to resolve the ongoing strike by healthcare workers, highlighting community pressure for resolution. The Embu County Government has also initiated a process to grant municipal status to three new towns, aiming to bring services closer to residents, improve urban planning, and attract investors. The Samburu County government has separately renewed its partnership to sustain a school feeding program benefiting 40,800 children in ECD centres, aiming to improve nutrition and boost school attendance for young learners.
