Similarly, TPS Eastern Africa, operator of Serena Hotels in East Africa, reported a widening net loss of Sh66.4 million for the first half of 2026 compared to a smaller loss in the prior year. In contrast, Softcare Kenya, a manufacturer of sanitary pads and diapers, saw its revenue from the Kenyan market surge by 17.4 percent to Sh7.2 billion in the first half of 2026, showing divergent performance in Kenya's corporate sector.
