The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal has upheld the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party's decision to remove Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as its Secretary-General, concluding a dispute over disciplinary powers. Edwin Sifuna had been engaged in shuttle diplomacy to mend a brewing fallout within the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party. The United Opposition is intensifying its closed-door consultations to strategize against President William Ruto's administration. ODM has declared it will not interfere with the upcoming Linda Mwananchi rally in Nairobi, with ODM Nairobi Chairman George Aladwa stating the party respects the right of Linda Mwananchi to engage with residents.
