TikTok is now requesting Kenyan content creators to submit their tax details, including personal and residency information, to comply with new tax regulations introduced by Kenya.

The National Assembly has approved a Sh6.5 million deal for private audit firm M/s MGI Alekim LLP to audit the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) for three financial years.

• The firm secured the contract at a significantly lower cost than previous audits.
• M/s MGI Alekim LLP was selected after outbidding five other firms whose proposals were deemed nonresponsive.
• This audit costs approximately four times less than the Sh25.5 million paid to M/s PKF Kenya LLP in 2024 for a similar service.
