The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has summoned two Members of Parliament, Didmus Barasa and John Ariko, over alleged inflammatory public utterances made in Bungoma and Turkana counties respectively.

• Both MPs are required to appear before the NCIC on September 29 to respond to statements currently under investigation.
• Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa is specifically being investigated for remarks made on September 19 concerning leaders from the former Western Province and a recruitment interview scenario.
• Turkana South MP John Ariko is also summoned to appear before the commission on the same date.
