Five individuals pretending to be lawyers for the past **13 years** were arrested in Bungoma during a raid led by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) alongside local authorities.

• They operated **four** fraudulent law firms, allegedly swindling residents out of millions of shillings.
• Steve Mbugua, a representative of LSK, highlighted that the suspects unlawfully represented clients in court.
• The operation led to the recovery of critical documents, including files related to ongoing court cases.
