• MP Jared Okello and other lawmakers expressed concerns about the effectiveness of the nation's security agencies and demanded accountability regarding Ojwang's death.
• Notably, Raila Odinga condemned the incidents leading to Ojwang's death and insisted on a speedy investigation into the matter.
