• Over **46,639** street families exist in Kenya, with **15,337** in Nairobi alone, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS).
• The government plans a nationwide census for street families beginning June 29 to determine necessary interventions.
• Mosiria recounted an incident where he helped a woman claiming to be stranded, only for her to vanish with cash, illustrating the fraudulent nature of some street beggars.
