The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption on Mombasa Road for commuters heading to Nairobi, scheduled for the weekend of June 20-22, 2025.

Traffic disruptions will occur near Syokimau Railway Station from 10pm June 20 to 6am June 21 and again from 10pm June 21 to 6am June 22.
KeNHA is overseeing the installation of the fabricated beams for the Syokimau Railway Footbridge.
Motorists are advised to follow traffic management plans and divert towards alternative routes to minimize congestion.
