The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has reopened loan applications for students at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), following the allocation of Sh500 million by the National Treasury.

• Deadline for applications is set for June 24, 2025.
• Kelly Oluoch, HELB Chief Executive Officer, confirmed this development and urged eligible students to apply.
• Loan disbursement was previously suspended due to funding shortfalls from austerity measures during the 2023/2024 financial year.
• Students are warned against fraud or extortion and are encouraged to report such incidents.
