Nancy Macharia, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers' Service Commission (TSC), has been nominated as the Chairperson of the Murang'a County Public Service Board.

• Macharia was nominated alongside four others on June 18, 2025, by Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata.
• The nominations are subject to approval by the County Assembly within 21 days.
• If approved, Macharia and her colleagues will serve for the next five years, marking her transition from TSC where she retired on June 30, 2025.
