On June 30, the Senate will hold a special sitting to discuss the impeachment of Isiolo Governor Abdi Hassan Guyo, following accusations of gross misconduct and abuse of office.

• 16 out of 18 members of the Isiolo County Assembly voted in favor of the impeachment motion.
• The motion was introduced by Sericho MCA Abubakar Godana.
• The sitting will also address the Report of the Mediation Committee on the Division of Revenue Bill, 2025.
