The Senate has announced that impeachment proceedings against Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo will be held in plenary on July 8 and 9, following the failure of a motion to form a special committee. Guyo was impeached by 16 out of 18 members of the Isiolo County Assembly due to allegations of mismanagement and stalling development.
