The High Court has ordered the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss, Mohammed Amin, to locate missing activist Ndiangui Kinyagia, either dead or alive, following his disappearance on June 21.

• Justice Chacha Mwita is dissatisfied with the police's failure to produce Kinyagia in court.
• Kinyagia was allegedly abducted by DCI officers after posting a protest timetable on his social media.
• Amin admitted officers searched Kinyagia's home, recovering electronic items, underlining their need to explain his whereabouts.
