The Ministry of Health in Kenya is launching a national immunization campaign against Typhoid and Measles-Rubella from July 5 to July 14, aiming to protect children.

Children aged 9 to 59 months will receive the MR vaccine; those aged 9 to 14 months will get the Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV).
The campaign addresses rising cases of antimicrobial-resistant typhoid and a confirmed measles outbreak in 18 counties.
Approximately 2,949 cases of measles and 18 deaths have been reported since January 2024.
