The National Police Service (NPS) has summoned activist Ndiangui Kinyagia to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters, following his resurfacing after a 13-day disappearance.

• Ndiangui Kinyagia was reported missing on June 22, with unverified claims suggesting he was forcibly taken from his home.
• Muchiri Nyaga, NPS Spokesperson, emphasized that Kinyagia was not in police custody during his disappearance.
• The police criticized the trend of faked abductions, warning that such actions are criminal and undermine law enforcement efforts.
