Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has demanded the arrest of individuals involved in the destruction of property during the recent Sabasaba protests, calling for charges of domestic terrorism against them.

• 11 people lost their lives and 63 individuals were injured during the protests, according to the National Police Service.
• The senator criticized the Judiciary, stating it is a contributing factor to ongoing demonstrations and should act impartially to prevent further lawlessness.
• A total of 567 people were arrested, with reports of violence including attacks on law enforcement and property damage.
