On Tuesday, July 8, hundreds of motorists were stranded for over 12 hours due to a heavy traffic snarl-up along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway, triggered by an accident involving two trailers.

Motorists Association of Kenya called for intervention from the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and the National Police Service (NPS).
