Police in Meru have arrested three suspects connected to the arson attack and looting of businesses during protests on July 7, 2025.

• Three suspects were captured on CCTV looting and igniting a fire at Magunas Supermarket.
• Suspects are currently in custody and will be presented in court soon.
• A motorcycle, believed to have been used during the attacks, was recovered as evidence.
