A 54-year-old man was arrested in Jomvu on Saturday after anti-narcotics officers seized cannabis and over TSh5 million in Tanzanian currency from him during a routine stop.

• Suspect was found with forty sachets of cannabis sativa and Sh4,960 in local currency.
• The operation was conducted by Mombasa Anti-Narcotics Unit as part of a crackdown on drug trafficking.
• The intelligence-led operation prevented potential drug trafficking along one of Kenya's busiest transport routes.
