Mediamax Network Limited has issued a redundancy notice affecting dozens of journalists as part of a strategic restructuring to improve operational efficiency amidst a challenging business environment.

• Tens of journalists may lose their jobs following the notice effective July 15, 2025.
• Ken Ngaruiya, CEO of Mediamax, cited declining business volumes and strict regulations as key reasons for the layoffs.
• Affected staff will receive terminal dues including notice pay and severance, in compliance with Section 40 of the Employment Act, 2007.
