The CEO of the Nursing Council of Kenya, Dr. Lister Onsongo, has been suspended by Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale due to irregular placements of **42 BSc Nursing Interns**.

• 42 interns improperly submitted by the Nursing Council and **10 Public and Private Universities**.
• Ann Mukuna appointed as the acting CEO during the internal audit process.
• Internship letters for the 42 students have been revoked with immediate effect to uphold professional standards.
