The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has successfully recovered public land valued at Ksh104 million in Mombasa, following a ruling by the Environment and Land Court.

• The land was unlawfully acquired by a former Coast Province Physical planner and was originally reserved for public use.
• Justice Stephen Kibunja ruled the title deed cancellation on July 23, affirming the land's status as public property.
• The EACC investigations revealed that the allocation violated land management laws, leading to a complex land scandal involving high-ranking officials.
