The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) collected a significant Sh86.5 billion in the last financial year through its Tax Dispute Resolution program, largely due to effective utilization of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms and successful litigation.

• Of the total, Sh18.9 billion was garnered through ADR, while Sh67.6 billion came from 2,389 successful litigation cases.
• Paul Mutuku, Commissioner for Legal and Board Services, highlighted that this performance indicates a growing acceptance of ADR among taxpayers.
• The achievement contributes to KRA's surpassing its annual revenue target, collecting Sh2.572 trillion against a target of Sh2.555 trillion.
