The Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Development has relaunched 4K Clubs in all public primary schools across Kenya. The initiative, announced by Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, aims to cultivate future agricultural entrepreneurs.
- The rebranded 4K Clubs are being introduced in all 31,218 public primary schools nationwide.
- Mutahi Kagwe, Cabinet Secretary of Agriculture & Livestock Development, launched the revived clubs on Saturday, August 2, at Kihate Primary School in Nyeri.
- The government has deployed 1,222 Trainers in 36 counties and equipped 245 schools with modern farming tools such as greenhouses and irrigation kits.
