President William Ruto has nominated Dr. Amani Yuda Komora as the new chairperson and Angeline Yiamiton Siparo as a member of the National Police Service Commission (NPSC). These nominations, announced on August 4, are subject to the constitutional power vested in the president and follow a selection process.

• Dr. Amani Yuda Komora previously served as the immediate former Vice-Chairperson of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
• Angeline Yiamiton Siparo has held significant roles, including coordinator for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) across 49 countries.
• The new nominees will join existing members Peris Muthoni Kimani, Edwin Cheluget, Benjamin Juma Imai, and Prof. Collete A. Suda on the NPSC.
