The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is opening a new tax office in Eastleigh, Nairobi County, to bring services closer to taxpayers and strengthen partnerships with the business community. This move aims to enhance tax compliance, facilitate trade, and support the growth of Eastleigh's commercial ecosystem.

• KRA Board Chairman Ndiritu Muriithi stated that the new office will make it “easier and simpler for taxpayers to comply.”
• The initiative was welcomed by EBDA CEO Mohamed Mero, emphasizing collaboration between the business community and KRA.
• The new Eastleigh office joins a list of 13 other branches operationalized during the 2024/2025 financial year, reflecting KRA's strategy to expand services closer to the public.
