ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has strongly criticized the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for alleged constitutional violations since the new commissioners took office.

• Sifuna objects to the IEBC's decision to hold by-elections on November 27, arguing it exceeds the constitutional 90-day mandate by more than 10 days.
• The by-elections will fill vacant seats across Kenya, including one senatorial, five Member of Parliament, and ten Member of County Assembly (MCA) positions.
• Additionally, Sifuna claims the IEBC irregularly replaced John Mbadi, a former nominee from the 'workers' category, with Harold Kimuge Kipchumba, who was from the 'Persons with Disabilities' category, violating laws on substitute nominees.
