This follows recent attacks on drivers, including an incident where attackers pelted a fuel trailer with stones.

  • LODDCA advised drivers to halt trips until security improves along the Goli–Mahagi–Bunia Road connecting Uganda and the DRC.
  • The association reported that drivers have been attacked "in the last 2 months" by assailants.
