Tom Macakiage and James Macakiage successfully defended their title at the Kabete Parent and Child Golf Tournament held at Vetlab Sports Club. Despite arriving from the USA at 4 a.m., the father-son duo achieved the lowest gross score of 68 (4-under) and were also recognized as the Best Dressed Pair.

• The tournament, now in its third edition, drew a diverse group of participants, including grandchildren, grandparents, and parent-child pairs.
• Shuhan Peng won the Putting challenge with an impressive 18 strokes among 28 participants.
• Other notable winners included Bhupendra Shah and Paras Shah in the Special category (gross score of 86), and Deep Shah and Rohini Shah in the 15-16 years category with a score of 70.
• James Macakiage credited his father’s putting as key to their victory, while Tom Macakiage highlighted the event’s bonding experience and encouraged other parents to participate.
