The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has officially replaced Senator Gloria Magoma Orwoba with Consolata Nabwire Wakwabubi as a nominated senator for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). The decision was formalized in a Gazette notice dated August 15, 2025, following Orwoba's expulsion from the UDA party in May 2025. Another Gazette Notice dated August 14 also confirmed the replacement. Consolata Nabwire Wakwabubi is now gazetted to take the position.
