The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has replaced Senator Gloria Orwoba with Consolata Wakwabubi as a nominated senator for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). This follows Orwoba's expulsion from the party due to misconduct and disloyalty.

• Orwoba was expelled from UDA on May 19.
• The changes were formalized via a notice dated August 15, amending Gazette Notice No. 10537 of 2022.
• Orwoba was accused of publicly supporting former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, creating a conflict with UDA party leader President William Ruto.
