• President Ruto vowed decisive action against all involved in bribery, stating, “We are not going to shame them, we are going to arrest them, whoever is giving and whoever is being given.”
• The Head of State’s allegations were made during a public address on Monday, August 18, 2025, at a joint meeting of the ODM and Kenya Kwanza talks in Karen.
• This follows similar remarks made on Wednesday, August 13, at the Devolution Conference in Homa Bay, where President Ruto alleged that lawmakers in parliamentary committees were demanding bribes from the Executive.
