India has handed over military equipment and medical supplies to the Nepal Army, signaling deeper defence cooperation ahead of Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli’s expected visit to India next month.

• The handover included Light Strike Vehicles, critical-care medical equipment, and military animals.
• Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri presented the supplies to Chief of Army Staff Gen. Ashok Raj Sigdel at Nepal Army Headquarters.
• The Indian Embassy in Nepal described the handover as a “reflection of the close relationship between the two armies” and an embodiment of "the spirit of trust and partnership."
